Hawzah News Agency- Speaking upon his arrival in Lebanon to attend ceremonies honoring martyrs Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safi al-Din, Larijani noted that the Qatar incident clearly demonstrated this reality. “Today, different countries are seeking mechanisms for cooperation with each other, and this is a correct approach that we support,” he added.
Larijani said one of the main objectives of his visit is to attend the ceremonies commemorating the Lebanese martyrs who defended the country, led by martyrs Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safi al-Din.
Commenting on recent regional developments, Larijani emphasized that the behavior of the Zionist regime has become clearer to nations, and the warnings previously voiced by martyr Hassan Nasrallah have now been fully recognized.
Referring to Iran-Lebanon relations, Larijani underlined the historical friendship between the two nations and said that in recent years, ties and mutual affection have strengthened. “We have always supported the presence of strong and independent governments in Lebanon,” he noted.
He expressed hope that developments in Lebanon would serve the interests of its people and help establish an independent and strong government, contributing to the welfare of Muslim nations.
Larijani concluded that during his short visit to Lebanon, meetings would be held which he hoped would benefit all countries.
